Over the years, we have reviewed several products provided by OLALA, a Hong Kong based company that focused on power banks, earbuds and flash drives, branded as iDisk, that allowed you to transfer files from an iPhone to a Mac.
In order to use the an iDisk, you needed an app called iDisk me, available as a free download from the App Store.
One of our readers just wrote to us asking how they can get the iDisk me app as it no longer appears in the App Store. We did some checking and agree that the app is no longer available.
We attempted to contact OLALA for information but our emails were undeliverable, and although the OLALA web site is still live, it appears all of the OLALA products are Out of Stock on Amazon.
We have to conclude that OLALA has suspended their operations or gone completely out of business. In either case, we do not want to be promoting a company, or their products, that are not readily available and supported. While this issue does not affect every OLALA product, we are marking our reviews with an appropriate warning and have taken them out of rotation for posting on our social media pages.
