New Software Upgrade Gives Users Access to Advanced Accounting Features, Just in Time for Tax Season
Last month, we reviewed the Epson Workforce ES-500WR Document Scanner which included the new Epson ScanSmart2 Accounting Edition software (read our review here).
Today, Epson America, a leading provider of digital imaging solutions, unveiled its updated ScanSmart Software1, now available with Epson’s ScanSmart Software Accounting Edition2 upgrade for receipt scanning capabilities. Epson now offers a 30-day free trial of ScanSmart Software Accounting Edition2, a powerful, time-saving accounting tool for small business and home users, and the option to purchase without an annual subscription.
The new Epson ScanSmart Software Accounting Edition2 upgrade includes advanced accounting document management tools for users to easily preview, email, upload, and organize receipts, financial documents and more3. Epson’s ScanSmart Software Accounting Edition2 offers powerful productivity features such as automatic file naming, automatic receipt recognition with accurate OCR and easy integration with QuickBooks®, TurboTax and Quicken. The upgrade can save users significant time by helping to eliminate the need for manual data entry and streamline the process of organizing and utilizing expense data and documents.

The ScanSmart Software1 license upgrade is compatible with the following Epson scanning solutions: WorkForce® ES-50, ES-60W, ES-200, ES-300W, ES-400, ES-500W and FastFotoÒ FF-680W.
Epson’s ScanSmart Accounting Edition Software2 is bundled with the following document scanners: WorkForceES-55R, ES-65WR, ES-300WRand ES-500WR.
