Now that the latest iPhone is available, people start to think about what accessories they may need. Cases and cables are usually first on the list. And even though the newest iPhone provide exceptional battery life, being able to recharge while on the go is also top of mind.
For easy recharging without the hassle of cables, consider the Ntaanoo Power Bank.
Unboxing
Based on the package alone, if we didn’t know better, we would think this is an Apple product. The simple white box with a photo of the product could easily be on the shelf at your local Apple store.
In the box is the Ntaanoo Power Bank (Model # MP051), a short USB-C charging cord, a multi-language User Manual and a Warning card.
The User Manual is well illustrated and covers all of the important points of using the Ntaanoo Power Bank.
The front of the power bank has a scallop design below the MagSafe connection, while the back side is smooth. On the bottom edge are four (4) LEDs that show the charge status of the internal battery. There is a fifth LED which is green which lights when the power bank is charging a device. The unit is auto-on when attached to a device but there is also a buttom that lights the LEDs to check the charge level.
Ntaanoo Power Bank – Specifications
The overall size of the power bank is 2.6” x 4.13” x 0.38” (66mm x 105mm x 9.6mm) and weighs 4.19 oz (119 g). It is one of the smallest power banks we have ever tested and will fit easily into a pocket or purse, for easy travel. And because it uses the MagSafe charging system, you won’t need to carry an extra cord, and can easily use our phone while charging it.
The internal battery is 5000mAh or 19.5Wh. It should be able to charge an iPhone 16 about 1-1/2 times.
The internal battery is charged using the built-in USB-C port and can accept 5V-3A or 9V-2A.
Output from the same USB-C port is 5V-3A, 9V-2.22A and 12V-1.67A. The wireless charging is 5W, 7.5W, 10Wand 15W.
Ntaanoo Power Bank – Test Results
Out of the box, our Ntaanoo Power Bank had about a 25% charge. We connected it to a USB-C Fast Charging AC power brick and it was at 100% capacity in about an hour.
To use the Ntaanoo Power Bank, you hold it up to the MagSafe ring on the back of the iPhone or to a MagSafe compatible iPhone case. It will not work with a non-MagSafe case.
The Ntaanoo Power Bank immediately started charging our iPhone 16. The magnet is strong and there was no concern that the power bank would fall off. Using this power bank couldn’t be easier.
You also have the ability to charge two devices at once using the MagSafe ring for wireless charging and the USB-C port for the second device.
The Bottom Line
There are certainly larger capacity MagSafe power banks available, but for easy of carrying one with you, the size and capacity of the Ntaanoo Power Bank is hard to beat.
The Ntaanoo Power Bank is available on Amazon here.
If you like the idea of a MagSafe power bank but want more capacity, Ntaanoo has a similar model with a 10000mAh battery, available on Amazon here.
