We’ve looked at several wireless chargers for charging your iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time, but this latest entry from Vissles adds an interesting option to get your wireless charging done.

Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger – Unboxing
The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger allows you to wirelessly charge a compatible iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods wirelessly, even if you don’t have the AirPods wireless charging case.
In the box is the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger, a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, a plastic tool to open the Vissles Wireless Charger, a Lightning adapter for the Airpods and a user manual.
The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger measures 6.9” x 3.5” x 4.7” (175mm x 89mm x 12mm), and weighs 3.88oz (110g).
The entire body is made of white ABS plastic and the slim design would make it very easy to throw into a travel bag or backpack for easy transport. The white plastic housing is very Apple like in styling and would go well in almost any location.
Power input requires 5V/2A or 9V/1.8A with power output of 5V/1A or 9V/1.1A. The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger supports Qi charging.
The included USB-A to USB-C cable measures 40.5 inches, tip-to-tip, which is one of the longer cable we have seen for this kind of device.
The top of the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger has a cut-out for an Apple Watch charging cable and a receptacle for the included Lightning Adapter for the AirPods case (more on that in a moment).
The bottom of the case has four (4) small rubber feet to prevent marring while sitting on a delicate surface.
Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger – Set-up
The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger does not include the Apple Watch charging disk so you will have to use your own.
On the rear edge of the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is the USB-C port to power the charger as well as a small indentation. This acts as a starting point to open the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger so you can install the Apple Watch cable.
Using the included plastic tool, which actually resembles a thick guitar pick, we placed it into the slot on the rear of the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger. A slight twist of the tool split the case by releasing plastic tabs. With the case partially open, we worked our way around the outer edge of the charger until it separated into a top and bottom section.
Although we were initially concerned we might break the case, it was extremely easy to open. Even after doing it a couple of times, none of the tabs broke, nor was there any visible damage to the charger itself.
With the charger open, you will see the top half has a small channel to hold the Apple Watch charging cable. The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is designed to accept the Apple Watch OEM charging cable and we started the installation by inserting the USB-A end of the cable into the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger USB-A port. We then placed the cable in the channel and worked it around to the end. At that point, we discovered that we had more cable than we needed.
Had we read the instruction, we would have seen that Vissles suggests starting from the charging disk end and working back to the USB-A port. Sure enough, when doing it that way, the cable aligned perfectl.
We did notice that it was a little difficult to insert the USB-A end of the cable into the charger port and it was even harder to remove it. We could see that repeated attempts to install and remove the cable could lead to cable failure so we would recommend getting a second cable if you think you will need the cable after setting up the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger.
Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger – AirPods Charging
The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is not the first wireless charging pad for AirPods that we have seen, but their approach to charging the original AirPods without a wireless charging case may be unique.
On the right side of the charger is a small metal ring, with a pin in the center. This is where you charge your AirPods. Also included in the package is a small Lightning Connector adapter. The adapter is inserted into the Lightning port on the bottom of your AirPods case. The bottom of the connector, which is magnetized, then sits on top of the metal ring and wirelessly charges the AirPods and case.
When ready to take your AirPods with you, just lift the case from the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger surface. The Lighting adapter remains in the AirPods case so when you return, simply let the adapter rest on the metal ring and the charging resumes.
We found the wireless charging of the AirPods to be easy and reliable. The Lightning adapter fit into the AirPods case perfectly and we were never concerned about it slipping out or getting lost. The magnet was strong enough to hold the AirPods case upright. In many ways, we consider this set-up to be like a Mag-Safe connector for AirPods.
It was extremely convenient to be able to return home and place the AirPods case onto the charger without having to fumble with a Lightning cable.
Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger – Test Results
Overall, we were satisfied with the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger performance. It had no trouble charging our iPhone Xs, Series 3 Apple Watch and original Airpods at the same time, while connected to the Apple OEM charger that came with our iPhone.
We did have two complaints.
First, because the Apple Watch has to lay flat on the charging surface, it makes it difficult to see the watch in Night Stand mode. Even if you tap the charger and activate Night Stand mode, it is difficult to see the time.
Our bigger complaint was regarding the LEDs built into the charger.
When powered on, even with nothing charging, the interior of the AirPods charging ring lights up. That was only moderately annoying when in a dark room and is easily covered by the AirPods case.
When an iPhone is placed on its charging surface, which is the middle of the charger, the ring around the Apple Watch charging disk also lights up. This happens whether you have a charging cable installed in the Apple Watch area or not. Putting an Aple Watch on the disk blocks it a little but if you were using this in a bedroom at night, the light could be distracting to a light sleeper. We also found that the light only does off after you have removed the iPhone from the charger.
Unfortunately, there is no way to shut-off the LEDs so for some people, this could be a deal breaker.
The Bottom Line
Multi-device wireless chargers continue to gain in popularity. The Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger certainly holds its own in overall performance. Perhaps our favorite feature is the Lightning adapter included with the charger that slips into your original AirPods case and makes wireless charging easier than ever.
Like many people, we charge our Apple devices overnight. The flat design makes it difficult to use the Apple Watch in Night Stand mode.
We also found the LEDs a bit annoying at night, especially the ring around the Apple Watch charger. While the LEDs make for an interesting look, they don’t really serve any purpose as far as we can tell and we would have preferred a way to turn them off.
Other than that, we think the Vissles 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is a solid charger for all your compatible Apple devices. In addition, if this is going to be a “daytime charger” perhaps in your home or office, those two minor issues are probably not a concern for you.
